Killarney Co. Kerry and Adare Co. Limerick

Let's start with Killarney. I always thought Killarney was nice, but this time I did not like it so much as there is not much to see, apart from two streets in the city centre, which are ok. But maybe my mood was not right as we had such a nice accommodation in Tralee and in Killarney we were not so lucky. I also thought the city was dead, I walked around at 11 o'clock and nobody seemed to be awake. The streets were almost empty and the few people I saw were miserable.

Lasst uns mit Killarney beginnen. Ich dachte immer, dass Killarney ein netter Ort wäre, aber dieses Mal  mochte ich ihn nicht so gerne. Ausser zwei Straßen im Zentrum der Stadt, die waren ok. Vielleicht lag es aber auch an meiner Laune, denn wir hatten eine nette Unterkunft in Tralee und in Killarney waren wir nicht so glücklich. Auch dachte ich, dass die Stadt tot wäre, da ich um etwa 11 Uhr herummarschierte und niemand munter zu sein schien. Die Straßen waren beinahe leer und die paar Leute, die ich sah, waren nicht gut drauf.

On the way home we drove through Adare in County Limerick, a very nice village with old cottages, which are very well preserved .

Auf dem Weg nach Hause fuhren wir durch Adare im Bezirk Limerick, ein sehr netter Ort mit alten traditionellen Häusern, die alle sehr gut erhalten sind.
