Hot Air Balloons over Waterford

Once again the hot air balloons excited old and young, the show started on Monday and ended tonight. As much as I like to look at those beautiful balloons, I would not be brave enough to go on a journey in one of them.

A lovely autumn day in Tramore, Co. Waterford

We had a lovely summer, but the autumn does not look too bad neither.

The day started dull and grey and became so lovely!

Landing of Crystal Serenity Cruise Liner from Nassau, Bahamas in Dunmore East

Saw this beautiful cruise liner in Dunmore East, County Waterford today and wished I could go on board  and travel back with it to Nassau, in the Bahamas, where it came from

THE SKELLIGS, Co. Kerry

That is how the weather looked like when we left Valentia island to head to the Skelligs.
I was afraid that it would start to rain any moment, but as you see it cleared up and it was perfect at the end.

Though we were the last boat to leave the port we were the first ones to arrive at the Skelligs as the captain of our ship was the "Niki Lauda of the Sea", he won the race against all the others!

The view was really amazing! Who would not like to see that!

I forgot to mention that I got very seasick when we headed over to the island and I was delighted to get out of the boat after 50 minutes, but it was really worth it!
Unfortunately I did not make it to the top as I was not fit enough to climb the 600 steps to see the Monk's stone buildings, so you will have to imagine them or to look on the internet for the Skelligs.
